Join us for Storytime every Saturday from 10 am - 12 pm at the Ijams Nature Playscape at Grayson Subaru Preserve (Mead's Quarry, 3518 Island Home Pike).

Head into the woods to meet our volunteer storytellers who will be reading stories based on our weekly theme. Some children will want to listen for 10 minutes and others for the full two hours and we welcome everything in between! In addition to storytelling, participants will enjoy a hands-on, nature inspired activity, and be encouraged to roam, play, and connect freely in the natural world. Whether it's cuddling up for a good book or meeting news friends, this program is all about imagination, growth, and community.

This is FREE event! Bring a blanket or a chair, a favorite snack, or just yourself and your kids! Parking is $5 per vehicle, or FREE if you're an Ijams member! The closest parking is at the Mead's quarry main or overflow parking lots. Simply follow the signs that will direct you to the Nature Playscape via a short connector trail. Cross McClure Lane at the walkway and you'll be at the entrance. Our storytellers gather at the "Bird's Nest" just a few feet past the Playscape entry!
