Ijams Nature Center exists because members, donors, organizations, governmental agencies and businesses believe this world is a place worth protecting. This nonprofit nature center would not exist without you. Thank you.
Membership & Donations
This nonprofit nature center relies on memberships and donations to maintain the trails, create new outdoor adventure areas, and ensure Ijams can offer incredible education programs that inspire visitors to become better stewards of the planet.
Ijams trail and location sponsorships allow companies and organizations to sponsor a specific trail or natural location such as an overlook on the Tennessee River.
Ijams would not be Ijams without dedicated volunteers. Each year, Ijams volunteers log more than 10,000 hours helping with educational programming, trail maintenance, visitor services, and special events. Join the team and have some fun!
Donating new or gently used items to Ijams Nature Center is a wonderful way to make a difference! From paddles and perennials to bird seed and spotting scopes, there's a lot to choose from!
The 1910 Society is a special group that celebrates the history of Ijams and ensures the future of this extraordinary place.
Memorials & Honoraria
Memorial and honorarium contributions help provide Ijams’ environmental education programs, maintain a 318-acre wildlife sanctuary, and care for nonreleasable animal ambassadors.
