DESCRIPTION AND ACTIVITIES
Give your 6 to 12 year-old the ultimate fall break experience that opens their eyes to the beauty and wonder of the changing seasons. The crisp, cool air and spectacular colors of autumn make this one of most enjoyable times of year to explore Ijams' 318 acres of protected wildlife habitat, trails, scenic overlooks, limestone features, nature playscapes, creeks, Mead’s Quarry, and the Tennessee River.

Ijams Fall Break Camp: Oct. 6-10, 2025
Ages: 6-12
Fee: $335 (includes cost of Navitat Knoxville)
Registration: Open!
Ijams Fall Break campers will examine signs of autumn, explore Mead's Quarry by foot or by boat, make discoveries in the ponds, climb across big boulders, meet Ijams animal ambassadors, get a peep at the changing leaves while zooming through ziplines at Navitat Knoxville, and more!

* NOTE: Although Ijams staff try to include all of the above activities in camp, there will be some variation based on weather and other factors.
AGE AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
​
Ijams Fall Break Camp is open to children ages 6-12 years old. New this year: there will be two Fall Break Camp groups: Fall Discovery Camp (ages 6-8) and Fall Adventure Camp (ages 9-12). When you register the group that your camper is eligible for will be the camp that shows up during registration.
CAMP HOURS AND RATES

Regular hours for Fall Break Camp are Monday, Oct. 6, through Friday, Oct. 10, 9 am-3 pm each day.
The weekly fee for Ijams Fall Break Camp is $335.
​
Camp fees include:

Navitat high ropes course

Use of all necessary recreation equipment

NOTE: Lunch is NOT provided by Ijams. All participants must bring a lunch and two snacks to camp each day.

Ijams also offers after-care sessions for Fall Break Camp.
​

After-care sessions are available each afternoon from 3-5 pm. The fee for after care is per person:​

$100 for the week

After-care sessions include both structured and self-guided activities.

NOTE: You are welcome to sign up in advance or let the staff know during drop-off that you need after-care.

Camp Specials
IJAMS MEMBER DISCOUNT
If you have an Explorer-level membership (or higher), you are eligible for a 5% discount on all the camp sessions and camp session options in your cart. Members at this level can use the discount code Member2025 during registration. If you believe that you are an Explorer-level membership (or higher) but are unsure, please reach out to Youth Programs Manager, Kylie, at kpreston@ijams.org, and she will check to see if your name is on the membership list. Everyone who uses the Membership discounts will be checked after registration and will be removed if you do not have an Explorer-level Membership, and payment will be owed if your membership isn't active. If you’re worried about securing your spot, don’t stress! We are able to apply the 5% discount after you register. Simply let us know, and we’ll take care of it!

MULTI-CHILD DISCOUNT
​
Parents registering multiple children for camps receive $10 off the fee for each additional child in the same household.
