Volunteer Workday on Imerys Trail 10/1/22 (REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

**NOTE: This session is limited to 15 participants. If you are not registered and there are 15 participants, you will be asked to come another time or will be given a different assignment.

Meet the Ijams Natural Resource Management team at the Mead's Quarry parking lot by 9:30 am and then hike to Imerys Trail to remove non-native, invasive woody plants from its corridor to open up the view to important natural wetland. 

Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes, long-sleeved shirts, and pants to protect themselves from thorns and poison ivy. BRING WATER! Tools and gloves will be provided.

Those who are under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult for all volunteer opportunities. Those who are 16 and 17 can participate in public volunteer workdays as long as they have a parent's or guardian's permission. Please email sshorey@ijams.org for the permission sheet. Thank you!
