Volunteer Trail Workday on Flow Trail 11/5/22 (REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

**NOTE: This session is limited to 15 participants. If you are not registered and there are 15 participants, you will be asked to come another time or will be given a different assignment.

Meet the Ijams Natural Resource Management team at Mead's Quarry Adventure Camp by 9:30 am and hike up Flow Trail, a popular biking trail in need of corridor work to improve line of sight. Volunteers will work to remove invasive plants 6-10 feet from either side of the trail and prune branches that are growing into the trail.

Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes, long-sleeved shirts, and long pants to protect themselves from thorns and poison ivy. BRING WATER! Tools and gloves will be provided.

Those who are under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult for all volunteer opportunities. Those who are 16 and 17 can participate in public volunteer workdays as long as they have a parent's or guardian's permission. Please email volunteer@ijams.org for the permission sheet. Thank you!
