About the Event
This program is part of the 2026 City Nature Challenge and is considered a volunteer opportunity - and anyone can join!
Join in on the fun during the 2026 City Nature Challenge! During this program, you will be assisting Ijams staff members in recording observations (ie: snapping photos, uploading data, and seeking out a variety of species) in iNaturalist during an approachable, fun-filled hike on the trails! You'll learn about different plant lineages, basic plant morphology, species profiles, and more!
Ages: This program is designed for ages 16+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 2.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.
