Take Action!: Bringing Sustainability Home: A Discussion with David Bolt

What does living sustainably mean? How can we accomplish that in our own lives? There are so many things, big and small, that each person can incorporate into their every day lives that helps not only the environment, but their own health and well-being.

Ijams Nature Center is partnering with Sustainable Future Center for the first of the Take Action discussions of the year. David Bolt, the Executive Director at SFC will be taking us through what sustainability is and what personal choices he made to be more sustainable using permaculture principles.   Some of the topics covered will include net-zero energy houses, electric cars, and growing food.  The discussion will also cover SFC programs that connect you with others exploring personal and community resilience and things you can do in your own life that will have a big impact.

This event will be held on Zoom and is free to the public. Reservations are required.
