About the Event
Geared toward: Adults and families with children aged 10+
Description: Ijams’ trails are home to many varieties of spring wildflowers. These “ephemerals” show up before the trees have a full canopy of leaves, so they can take advantage of the spring sunlight. Join Tennessee Naturalist Lynne Davis and her husband, Bob, for a 1-2 mile walk in search of the beauties of spring. We’ll learn the flowers’ names and some interesting facts and folklore about them. Be sure to bring your camera!
Materials participants should bring: closed-toe shoes that are OK getting muddy, water, and weather-appropriate clothing.
