All participants MUST complete an Assumption of Risk Form (only once in a calendar year) prior to participation in a program: ijams.org/waiver
If you have already filled out a waiver for another Ijams Education program this year, there is no need to fill out another one.
Out in the field, fungi identification doesn’t leave mush-room for guessing! Join an Ijams fun-guide (naturalist) for this immersive workshop where you’ll learn the basics of fungi and lichen anatomy, identification, and their pivotal role in our ecosystems. This program is best for beginner foragers and mushroom enthusiasts.
Ages: This program is designed for ages 14+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 1.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.
