Spooky Night Bike Ride

Bring your bike and get stoked for a spooky naturalist-guided tour of the Will Skelton Greenway! 

Experience the natural wonders of Knoxville's Will Skelton Greenway by biking through Ijams Nature Center and Forks of the River WMA. Through various stopping points, you'll learn the history of Island Home, the Tennessee River, and observe various forms of flora and fauna that call the Greenway home! 

The Route: This program will begin at Ijams Nature Center. The group ride will head east towards Island Home Park along the Will Skelton Greenway, and then head west to Forks of the river WMA before heading back to the starting location. There will be various stopping and resting points.

Mileage: This bike ride will cover under 5 miles of the Will Skelton Greenway. While the Greenway is a great escape from cars and other motorized vehicles, there is no escape from the hills of Knoxville!…
