Ever wanted to try molding and shaping hot glass in front of a flame?  Learn how to create your very own torch-made glass pendant or ornament with Visualize Art Studio's 30min Mobile Hot Glass Workshop here at Ijams on April 12!  With these abridged intro classes, the student get a brief intro to hot glass torch working (lampworking) by making their very own wearable glass art pendant or ornament under the instruction of our skilled teachers.

This intro to borosilicate lampworking/flameworking will include a safety and basic torch orientation before transitioning into learning the fundamentals of flameworking.

You will operate your own torch to create your own glass piece. Get hands-on with melting and shaping glass! Perfect for beginners- no experience required. Each session is 30 minute.

This workshop is good for ages 14+. All students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
