About the Event
Join Ijams' community partners for this educational talk-and-walk Sept. 15 from 6-7:30 pm starting at 3300 Sutherland Ave. (near the intersection of Third Creek and Tobler Lane).
This tree walk will be led by City of Knoxville Urban Forester Kasey Krouse to discuss the detrimental impacts of invasive species on the health of the urban forest. You'll walk through Third Creek Greenway to discuss ongoing invasive removal and reforestation projects. Come learn more about how the City of Knoxville, Trees Knoxville, Ijams, and other community partners are working together to preserve our native ecosystems!
