About the Event
**NOTE: This workday is limited to 10 participants. If you are not registered and there are 10 participants, you will be asked to come another time or given a different assignment.
Volunteers will head out to Ijams' newest property, the Grayson Subaru Preserve, to hand pull some small patches of privet, collect invasive brush, and create brush fences. Long-sleeved shirts, closed-toed shoes, and pants are recommended to protect from thorns and poison ivy. Bring water! Terrian is difficult.
Please bring the following: water, appropriate clothing/footwear, and a mask if you have one (the Ijams Visitor Center has simple disposable masks if you come without one). Masks will only be necessary when we are within six feet of each other. If you are exhibiting any sign of fever or illness, do not participate in this workday. Tools and gloves will be provided.
