Parents' and Children's Night Hikes (Family Program)

Geared Towards: Adults and Families with kids ages 6+

Description: Parents, this one is for you. Come spend an evening out with an Ijams Naturalist as you explore a fun guided night hike tailored for adults. Before you head out on the trail there will be a brief indoor introduction with a free beer for every participant over the age of 21. What about my kids, you ask? They will be having their own night hike experience with another Ijams Naturalist, so you can enjoy your evening worry-free.

Information to note: Each adult registered will receive one free beer at the beginning of the program. Adults and children will have 2 separate night hike experiences. Because participants may need to be closer than 6 feet to one another at times during the night hike, all participants will be required to wear a face mask. This program will meet at the Ijams Visitor Center.

Materials to wear/bring: Participants should wear closed-toed shoes and bring a mask for each participant, water, insect repellent, a personal I.D. for each adult, and a flashlight/headlamp (optional).  

No walk-ins will be accepted.

Every participant must have a ticket.

Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to severe weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
