About the Event
Paddle on the TN River to Kick off the Outlandish Adventure Festival
Join in the fun on May 1 as the official kickoff to the Outlandish Adventure Festival takes to the Tennessee River! Join the Outlandish Partners- The Knoxville Adventure Collective, River Sports Outfitters, and Ijams Nature Center for an evening paddle on the Tennessee River to celebrate the Flower Moon. Reserve a kayak or bring your own boat to Holston River Park for a full moon float.
Participants can bring their boats to Holston River Park as early as 5:30pm to drop off for the paddle. Once personal boats are dropped off, participants will relocated vehicles to the Ijams Quarry Parking lots. A shuttle will take you to Holston River Park between 7-8pm. Last shuttle will leave at 8pm!

Boat Rental
Good for one boat rental for the Friday Night Full Moon Float on the River from Holston River Park Participants will park at Ijams Quarry Lots and get shuttled between 7pm-8pm to Holston River Park. LAST SHUTTLE LEAVES AT 8pm! Participants must be over 35 lbs if renting a boat.

Bring Your Own Boat
Bring your own boat to the Friday Night Paddle on the TN River to kick off the Outlandish Adventure Festival. Participants will drop your personal boat at Holston River Park around 7pm and then move your vehicle to Ijams Quarry Parking Lots. There will be a shuttle from 7-8pm from Ijams to Holston River Park where the float will begin promptly at 8:30pm. Once the float is over, folks will unload boats from the river and take them to the turn about and then will go and get your vehicle.
