About the Event
Take the afternoon to Opt Outside at Ijams Nature Center! With an Ijams naturalist, participants will discover the unique flora and fauna that inhabit our backyards and neighborhoods in East Tennessee through observation and immersive trail games.
Ages: This program is designed for ages 6+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 1.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.
Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in.
