About the Event
Come on out to Ijams Nature Center and get the chance to explore our thriving ecosystem and the animals living here! Each animal works hard and exercises incredible care to create their unique home in the wild. Participants will learn about what goes into animal survival by meeting one of our Ijams Animal Ambassadors! Then we'll seek out animal habitats in the wild while hiking, flipping logs, and peering in ponds. Lastly, participants will create their own animal habitat together and think about ways that we can conserve these habitats for years to come!
This program is perfect for Brownie Girl Scouts working on the Eco Friend Badge and Junior Girl Scouts focusing on the Animal Habitats Badge.
