Nature Nuggets: Pond Life (Family Program) 3/24/22

Nature Nuggets is a program for children 2-4 and their caregivers.

Description: Nature Nuggets provides a guided experience for children ages 2-4 and caregivers to gain confidence in the outdoors. This month we explore the ponds at Ijams. We will use dip nets and our fingers to discover all of the bugs, frogs, and salamanders that call Ijams home. 

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should bring closed-toed shoes, clothes they don't mind getting wet, a change of clothes, weather appropriate clothing, hat, water, snacks, and a hands-free way to carry everything. 

Information to Note: This program is held completely outside rain or shine, and participants should come prepared for an hour in the elements.

Location: This class meets at the Ijams Nature Center outdoor pavilion next to the main parking lot.

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 2 years old do not need a ticket.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
