Nature Nuggets: Helping Hands (Youth Program)

Nature Nuggets is a program for children 2-4 and their caregivers.

Description: Nature Nuggets provides a guided experience for children ages 2-4 and caregivers to gain confidence in the outdoors. This month we are learning all the ways we can help animals and plants. We will work with the Ijams Natural Resource team to make one small part of Ijams even more ideal for animals and plants.

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear sturdy shoes and clothing for hiking, and bring water, hats, gloves, sunglasses, snacks, and a hands-free way to carry these items. 

Information to Note: This program is held completely outside rain or shine, and participants should come prepared for an hour in the elements. 

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 2 years old do not need a ticket.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
