Nature Nuggets: Finding Food (Youth Program)

Nature Nuggets is a program for children 2-4 and their caregivers.

Description: Nature Nuggets provides a guided experience for children ages 2-4 and caregivers to gain confidence in the outdoors. This month we are exploring what animals eat! Spring is here and animals have plenty of food. Join a naturalist to find out what they are eating and how they are finding it. There might even be a special guest!

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear sturdy shoes and clothing for hiking, and bring water, hats, sunglasses, snacks, and a hands-free way to carry these items. 

Information to Note: This program is held completely outside rain or shine, and participants should come prepared for an hour in the elements. 

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 2 years old do not need a ticket.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
