MOVIES UNDER THE STARS: The Shawshank Redemption

Join Ijams and Central Cinema for a screening of the film based on a 1982 Stephen King novella, The Shawshank Redemption.

Rated R, The Shawshank Redemption follows the story of Andy Dufresne, who finds himself imprisoned for crimes he didn't commit and ends up at the Shawshank penitentiary trying to navigate through all the hardships that prison brings including torture, blackmail, murder and more. Even through all of this, Andy is able to find friendships, purpose, and hope until his last days in prison. You won't want to miss out on watching this award winning film that is also rated one of the best movies of all times.

Doors open at 7 pm; movie begins at dark (~9 pm). Food trucks and the Ijams beer garden will have tasty meals, snacks, and beverages available for purchase. NO COOLERS AND NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL PLEASE. Dogs are allowed, but must be on leash at all times. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended.
