MOVIES UNDER THE STARS: The Lion King

Join Ijams and Central Cinema for a screening of the 1994 Disney animated musical classic, The Lion King. 

Rated G, The Lion King follows the adventures of the young lion Simba, whose father, Mufasa, rules the Pride Lands. Simba's wicked uncle plots to usurp Mufasa's throne by luring father and son into a stampede of wildebeests. Simba escapes, but his father is killed. With the help of his friends, Timon and Pumbaa, young Simba learns important life skills and returns to take back his homeland. It's a magical adventure you won't want to miss.

Doors open at 7 pm; movie begins at dark (~8:15 pm). Food trucks and the Ijams beer garden will have tasty meals, snacks, and beverages available for purchase. NO COOLERS AND NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL PLEASE. Dogs are allowed, but must be on leash at all times. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended. This event is on the Visitor Center lawn.

Tickets are $10 per person or $36 for a ticket four-pack. Space is limited. Purchasing tickets ahead of time is highly recommended. Walk-up tickets may not be available. Learn More about the 2022 Series
