Overview of the play- Romeo and Juliet:
It is a tale as old as time and one we all believe we know by heart: Two Starcrossed Lovers shine bright and brilliant, only to have their love extinguished as soon as it ignites...but that is not the whole story. Join the Tennesee Stage Company's 2024 season cast as they come together to tell the rom-com, meet-cute romance of two people falling in love, sneaking around, and coming together to ultimately change the course of a city's fate-- only to be thwarted by blind loyalty, pride, and those who believe they know what is best. As with all stories that pull at your heartstrings, William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet will make you whoop, laugh, tear up, sigh, shake your head, and remember what it's like to fall in love, all over again.
