About the Event

It's time for pumpkins, bonfires, and some haunted tales to share!  The Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association is comprised of folks who love telling, listening to, and rejoicing in our rich heritage of stories. From classic ghost stories to contemporary tales, from historical horror to silly kid-friendly stories, we will have something to give shivers and fun of the season. Join them at Ijams on Tuesday, October 24 as they offer "Halloween Stories" where tellers share some of their favorite stories, old and new!

Doors open at 6 pm, stories begin at 7. Tickets for this event are $10 for adults, $5 for kids (ages 5-12).  This event is generally family friendly, but some stories told may be too scary for some children, so parental discretion is advised.

The Spiffy Spud will be the food truck for all of your dining needs, and the Ijams Beer Garden and concession area will be open all evening. We will have hot chocolate, spiced ciders, hot coffee and more as well.

This event will happen on the lawn at the Ijams Visitor Center so bring your lawn chairs or blankets with you. Dogs are allowed at this event, but they must be on a leash.

***In the event of inclement weather,  it will be held indoors, so you will not need to bring chairs and dogs will not be allowed in the building. We will email everyone who purchased tickets if this happens.***

This event is sponsored by Boston Beer Company.
