About the Event
The Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association is comprised of folks who love telling, listening to, and rejoicing in our rich heritage of stories. You’ll find a multitude of telling styles and genres among our members: whether it’s traditional Appalachian tales, classical stories from foreign lands, contemporary fiction, or personal narratives, you’re never quite sure what you may find as the next story unfolds. True to that form, on Tuesday, May 12, we offer a night of storytelling, where tellers share some of their personal favorite stories, old and new!
Doors open at 6 pm, stories begin at 7. Tickets for this event are $12 for adults, $6 for kids (ages 5-12). The Ijams Beer Garden and concession area will be open all evening.
This event will be held on the back patio at the Visitor Center with seating provided. No outside alcohol allowed.
