IJAMS RIVER RESCUE 2020: Love's Creek behind Walmart

The 2020 Ijams River Rescue presented by Home Federal Bank and TVA is an annual communitywide event that focuses on cleanup sites along the Tennessee River and its tributaries. Each year, between 600-800 volunteers spend several hours removing tons of trash from these areas. Volunteers may come as individuals or in a group, such as families, friends, corporate teams, scout troops or church groups. Bags and gloves are provided, and each location has a site captain to assist volunteers.

Love's Creek is suitable for adults only (ages 18+).

Please meet at the north corner of the Walmart parking lot 10 am.

Closer to the event date, a reminder email and waiver will be emailed to everyone who has signed up, so please be on the lookout. All participants must have a signed waiver, and all children under 18 must have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian. Troop leaders, friends, and…
