Ijams Offline Learning: Follow the Food Chain

Geared Toward: Ages 6-10 and their caregivers

Description: Ijams Offline Learning brings online standards-based lessons to life through guided experiences in one of the safest classrooms around--the great outdoors! During this program, participants use investigation skills to follow the food chain and answer questions such as: How do plants get their food? What are consumers? How does energy move? After collecting evidence of producers, consumers, and decomposers students can report their findings back to their virtual classroom!

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear comfortable shoes and clothing for hiking, and bring sunscreen, water, hats, sunglasses, and a hands-free way to carry these items.

No walk-in’s will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult”

“Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. 

Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.”
