About the Event
Geared Toward: Ages 11-18 and their caregivers
Description: Ijams Offline Learning brings online standards-based lessons to life through guided experiences in one of the safest classrooms around--the great outdoors! Citizen Science allows all of us to be a part of scientific research taking place all across the globe. During this program, participants help track the growth or decline of bird species, conduct assessments of aquatic habitat health, and monitor changing forests. This program proves that everyone has what it takes to be a scientist.
Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear comfortable shoes and clothing for hiking, and bring sunscreen, water, hats, sunglasses, and a hands-free way to carry these items.
No walk-in’s will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult”
“Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather.
Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.”
