About the Event
Geared Toward: Ages 6-9 and their caregivers
Description: Ijams Offline Learning brings online standards-based lessons to life through guided experiences in one of the safest classrooms around--the great outdoors! During this program, participants explore how animals share many features with each other including legs, eyes, and mouths, but use these body parts in very different ways. Together we collect a variety of animals with dip and sweep nets to compare and contrast their different body parts and how they are used.
Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear closed-toe shoes that are okay getting muddy, and bring sunscreen, water, hats, sunglasses, and a hands-free way to carry these items.
No walk-in’s will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult
Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather
Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable
