Ijams New Year's Day Hike

Start 2021 off with an invigorating hike! Join Ijams Hiking Club leaders Amy Oakey and Nick Stahlman for a mind-clearing walk up and through South Knoxville's Urban Wilderness. On the hike there will be plenty of opportunity to learn about local wildlife, the Urban Wilderness, and the Ijams Hiking Club.

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear sturdy shoes and clothing for hiking, and bring sunscreen, water, hats, sunglasses, snacks, walking poles and a hands-free way to carry these items.

Information to Note: This is a moderate hike with some elevation change, and trails can be muddy/slippery when wet. Please prepare accordingly.

No walk-in’s will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 18 years are not permitted.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
