Ijams Field Day: Nature Photography Workshop with Clay Thurston (Adult Program)

Recommended for ages 18 and up

Description: This class will help take your nature photos from ordinary to extraordinary with the knowledge of local Nature Photographer, Clay Thurston. Saturday morning will begin with a short discussion on some very easy ways to improve your photographs.  This will be followed with a questions and answers section, and then off to the woods to put these techniques into practice.  At about 11:30 we’ll return to review our photos. This class is for all ability levels and all you need is a phone with a camera to participate. 

Materials Participants Should Bring: Smartphone or camera, walking shoes, a journal to take notes, clothes for rain or cold, water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack.
