Have you ever wondered what you can eat, or make, from the plant life around you? Come find out!
Join Ijams naturalist in a class to help you learn how to locate and identify many of the delicious edible plants growing wild in your community. Leave this class with new skills on basic plant identification, techniques for foraging and using edibles, and new understanding into wild plant nutrition and medicinal benefits hidden all around us. Come prepared to create plant goodies of your own to take home!
Ages: This program is designed for ages 18+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 1.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.
