Hiking 101 with Wildwood Hiking

This program introduces the fundamentals and skills you need to become a safe and confident hiker.  

Topics may include route planning, hiking gear, clothing layering, footwear, hiking nutrition, trail etiquette, leave no trace, basic navigation, and hiker safety.  Each session includes a combination of classroom instruction and an easy-to-moderate guided hike (30-60 minutes in length).  

This program is family-friendly; all ages are welcome!  Bring water and wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
