Experience the enthusiasm and knowledge of local naturalist, educator, and photographer Kris Light as she shares her deep fascination with photographing moths in high resolution at night. You'll learn how these amazingly perceptive flying insects have coevolved for centuries with the plants in East Tennessee, and are far more prolific and compelling than most are aware. You'll safely catch and examine live moths (and release them), and take home new ways to protect and attract these large evening fliers to your home this year!
Space is limited. Preregistration required. Participants will meet at the Homesite Lawn; bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
