About the Event
Witness the marvelous Geminid Meteor shower during its peak, with a potential for 120+ meteors per hour! Go hiking with Ijams naturalists, uncovering midnight wonders of the woods while taking breaks to talk all things stars, constellations, and the beautiful night sky!
This program is held outdoors in its entirety; please dress for the frigid temperatures! Gloves, hats, and warm drinks are encouraged!
Ages: This program is designed for ages 16+. Anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 1.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.
Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in. If you have…
