About the Event
The Folks in Nature Hiking Club is a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone is empowered to show up as their authentic, unfiltered selves while exploring the joy that nature has to offer. We welcome those who have been historically excluded or discouraged from finding community in and with natural spaces, as well as their friends, to gather together on monthly hikes throughout Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness.

Parking: Please note that each vehicle parked in the GSMNP needs to have a parking permit which is NOT provided by Ijams. These passes are available to purchase online as well as at kiosks at visitor’s centers. The trailhead we are meeting at does NOT have a kiosk to purchase parking passes!
