About the Event
Recommended for ages 5 and up
Description: Join an Ijams Naturalist to meet a variety of live animal ambassadors that call Ijams Nature Center home. All of these animals are native to East TN., and can be found in your backyard. Come learn some amazing facts about these animals, and how you can best help if you encounter them. Turtles, snakes, birds, and an opossum will be on display.
Materials Participants Should Bring: Just bring yourself and a great attitude!
Information to Note: Snakes are a part of this presentation, and will be kept at a distance for your comfort.
Location: This program meets at the Farragut Community Center in the assembly hall.
No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather.
Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
