Get ready for a beautiful evening on the Tennessee River under the setting sun! Join Ijams naturalists for this 2-hour, guided paddle to uncover the secrets of the Tennessee River after dark and learn about the beautiful night sky while searching for unique plants, animals, and geologic features along the way.
All participants MUST complete an Assumption of Risk Form (only once in a calendar year) prior to participation in a program: ijams.org/adventure-liability-release
If you have already filled out a waiver for another Ijams Education program this year, there is no need to fill out another one.
Kayaks, PFDs, and headlamps are provided. While participants are welcome to bring their own PFD, kayak paddle, or headlamps, we ask that they DO NOT bring their own kayak. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, bring water, and come prepared for changing weather conditions.
