About the Event
Take your first (or tenth) flight out of the nest and into the world of birding! With an Ijams naturalist, you’ll dive straight into Spring migration birding during an approachable, fun-filled morning hiking on the trails and identifying a myriad of bird species by sight and sound. This program is great for complete beginners and bird enthusiasts alike!
Ages: This program is designed for ages 14+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 2.5 mile during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points. A limited amount of binoculars are available for use for those that do not have their own.
Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in. If you have been…
