About the Event
Cyanotype: Ornaments and Adornments
Join The Big Camera on May 24 from 10am-1pm for a fun workshop where you will be using fabric and teabag paper pre-treated with cyanotype chemistry. Botanicals, feathers, lettering, and other flat objects will be used to create these unique blue prints. After time in the sun, the prints are rinsed in water and dried to reveal some amazing creations. Cyanotype printing is one of the simplest of the historic photographic processes, and totally safe for the environment.
Each participant will get to make a hanging ornament and a 22x22 in. bandana!
Class size is limited to 10. Ages 12 and up.
Cost: $50 per person. All supplies included.
