About the Event
Join Ijams Nature Center and The Big Camera on July 14 from 11-1 pm for a fun-filled workshop on creating one-of-a-kind cyanotype jewelry for your very own!
The cyanotype process uses the sun and a combination of light-sensitive salts to make a print. In this workshop, you will make two gorgeous Cyanotype necklaces: one to keep, one to gift, and one larger ornament/window hanging piece. You will learn how to coat paper, make our own botanical prints, and create inserts for premade jewelry pieces that The Big Camera will supply. You'll have several size and shape options to choose from for your jewelry.
Please note, that each person attending needs to purchase a ticket! Since you will be making more than one item each, we do not have space for multiple people to sit in using one ticket.
