CREATIVE SERIES: Felted Needle Case

Looking for a new hobby in the New Year? Then why not try a fun felting workshop! Join in this beginner felting workshop on January 26 from 1:30-5:00pm.

In this workshop, you will learn all the basics for felting as you create this portable needle case to store your needles and pins so they don't get lost and you don't stick yourself! Students will learn how to felt the cover using wool fiber plus their choice of embellishing materials e.g. silk fiber or fabric, mohair, other wools, glitz, etc. Students will then cut out some already felted material, sew them together with embroidery thread and add buttons. If you have a special button that you'd like to use please bring it along to embellish your new needle case.

Instructor will supply all materials. Please bring a large towel, large sponge, sharp scissors, embroidery needle and marker pen.
