About the Event
Join Ijams Nature Center and The Big Camera for a FREE creative and educational pop-up workshop all about lumen prints, where you can make your own to take with you.
Lumen prints are an early photographic process from the 1830s, when the British father of photography, Henry Fox Talbot, made “photogenic drawings." Flowers and leaves are placed on light-sensitive paper and exposed to the sun. Vinegar, salt, and spices can be added to enhance the colors. This simple process can be experienced and enjoyed by all ages.
This is a free community event and all ages are welcome but you must reserve your spot.
