We will catch cicadas, identify the 3 species in Brood X, learn the difference between male and female, and discuss the basic biology and ecology of cicadas. By the end of the hour you will be a certified expert on periodical cicadas, or at least have a deeper appreciation for these astounding arthropods.

Information to Note:  We will be catching cicadas in nets, and holding them in our hands. Please come mentally prepared to get up close with these insects.
