CANCELLED: Phenomenal Fireflies

Experience the dazzling display of fireflies this June and explore Ijams' trails as they light up with the glow of these incredible beetles! With an Ijams naturalist, you'll learn about how and why lightning bugs use their bioluminescence to communicate, and gain a larger understanding of these phenomenal fireflies.

All participants MUST complete an Assumption of Risk Form (only once in a calendar year) prior to participation in the program: ijams.org/waiver

If you have already filled out a waiver for another Ijams Education Program this year, there is no need to fill out another one.

Ages: This program is designed for ages 14+

Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 2 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.
