About the Event
**This program is 18+**
Join an Ijams naturalist for this immersive, 3-hour workshop to explore the reptiles and amphibians that call East TN home. During this workshop you'll get up close and personal with some reptilian Ijams Animal Ambassadors, learning species' life histories and identification factors that we'll take with us in the field! We'll explore the Ijams trails and ponds, dipnetting/catching various species of frogs, salamanders, and macroinvertebrates. Through hands-on exploration, you'll come away with tools for successful species ID by both sight and sound.
Participants are asked to bring the following:
1. Notebook
2. Pen or pencil
3. Water & snacks
