What's all the buzz about? Come grab a butterfly net and find out! Join an Ijams naturalist for a fun-filled afternoon catching beetles, butterflies, bees, and so many more insects that call Ijams home! You'll learn respectful bug catching practices, un-bee-leivable species facts, and how these amazing arthropods benefit our environment.
Ages: This program is designed for ages 14+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 1 mile during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points. The entirety of the program will be held outside - please dress for the weather.
Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in. If you have been issued a yearly membership or parking pass, you're all…
