About the Event
*** The 10AM session for Bug & Grubs will require participants to be comfortable with getting into (slow) running water at Toll Creek. Please wear the appropriate footwear (chacos or other water shoes) and clothing! If you would not like to go in the water, please sign up for the 1PM session.
Calling all creek kids! Join an Ijams naturalist to explore under logs and in the creeks and ponds of Ijams while searching for bugs, worms, and other underground critters and macroinvertebrates that are often overlooked. BE PREPARED: Please wear clothing/footwear that you'd be alright getting wet in!
All participants are asked to download the iNaturalist app before their workshop date and create a free account. iNaturalist will be a key tool we use during our BioBlitz!
