It's salamander season! Explore the evening trails and ponds of Ijams Nature Center, searching for salamanders, frogs, and other amphibians as they wake up from their sleepy winter state as the weather gets warmer. Nets, gloves, and other equipment for amphibian exploration is provided! Please make sure your hands are clean of sunscreen, bug spray, and any other chemicals in order to protect our pond critters!

Ages: This program is designed for ages 10+

Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 2.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This…
