Beginning to Bird is designed for ages 11 and up
Ijams' Beginning to Bird program helps you take or re-take your first steps into the world of bird watching. This month, we get a look at feathers from many different birds. Together we will view feathers up close, learn how to tell various feathers a part, and explore how these amazing structures came to be. We'll be watching and listening for adult birds all the while. Description:
Good walking shoes, water, binoculars (Ijams can provide binoculars as needed), journal, something to write with, and bird field guideMaterials Participants Should Bring:
This is a bird walk and we will go on trails with roots, rocks, and some elevation change. Arrive ready to walk approximately .75 to 1 miles.Information to Note:
